Thanks everyone for your well wishes on my birthday!!! It was a good day, and yes, I did feel a little overwhelmed (in a good way)!I searched for an appropriate picture to go with this post, but decided just to post one I liked - after all, this is my birthday weekend ;)

My kind of golf

I played golf with some ex-coworkers of mine. All the games I had ever played had been fairly quiet and respectful. Towards the beginning of this game, one of the guys hit the ball very badly and I let out a snort/giggle. I thought maybe I was being too rude and asked my teammate Brett if it was okay to laugh. "Oh yeah! It's okay." And we did - the entire game! I think I like any sport where you are allowed to belly laugh.

Grace

This is Grace - she belongs to one of my fellow softball players. Sometimes she'll reach her tiny hand in through the fence and grab a ball in the dugout, and then fight to get it back through the fence. Watching her do this really cracks me up. Okay! Sometimes I egg her on, "Hey Gracey, you want a ball?!" She's a super cute kid!
