My brother's lovely family

The 4th Birthday

These pictures -not only is it hilarious how my niece is having trouble balancing her tiara, but the way my older niece is completely focused on the candle is hilarious too!
A little bit of silliness before the family photo.

Day - 4 L'Ecole Nationale D'Equitation

They had certain calls (in French of course) at which the horses would either rear up or back kick. Occasionally, a horse would throw in a back kick when it wasn't called for which sent me into a fit of giggles every time!

After the show we got to go around the stalls and visit with the horses.

One of the other visitors saw me take this picture and she commented that it was unusual to see a horseman on a bicycle. Of course, I don't really know what she said, but that's what she said. I'm always fascinated that you don't have to speak the same language to understand people.

Okay, some of the horses scared me. We'd be petting them one minute and then they'd throw their heads over like this the next. It's not something I'm used to.

Day 2 - Notre Dame & Sainte Chapelle

We visited Notre Dame while they were having mass.

We ate at this restaurant before we while we waited for the concert at Sainte Chapelle to start.

The famous stained glass windows

Of course, there was some renovations going on.

The violinist - I asked if I could have my picture taken with him. He brushed his hair back and said "I need to fix my hairs."
