House Sitting with House Guests

This past week I've been house sitting for a friend from the ceramics studio. Last year's resident artists, Mike and Chanda happened to be visiting Texas this week, so we all stayed in the fancy-shmancy hunting lodge.

Teaching this class was some of the hardest work I've ever done, but I grew to really love these girls!

Classroom Baseball

Seventh period has been one of my favorite classes this semester. After everyone took their final, we played baseball with taped up paper for the ball and rulers for the bats. It was a loud and wild game.

APAH Ibex

This is a linoleum print for my APAH class. We are each referencing an image we studied during the school year. I chose the Susa bushel with ibex motif. I think it's a really cool graphic design for a prehistoric culture.

Merely a Meers burger

Today Dad and I rode the Tour de Meers in the cold rain. It was surprisingly fun and beautiful...then we ate a burger.
