Imaginary Play

We’ve started “blocking” (new terminology for me) for the local play that I’m in. Since we don’t have the set built yet, the director put tape on the floor to represent doors, windows, and staircases. This is my first time apart from grade school Christmas pageants to be in a play. So far, with all the imaginary walls, doors and props, everything reminds me of when I was a kid playing with my friends…and the bossiest kid is the director.

It is funny, Mezzo! We've gone through Act 1 several times and it still makes me laugh, and it's not even the funniest act. Oh yeah, and I'm Poppy the stage manager.

You mean "an entertaining Mary", Mom?
