Robotics Championship

I went up to the city to visit Lindsay and Shay on Saturday. We were looking for some fun, cheap entertainment. Shay read in the Gazette where they were having the High School Robotics Championship at the Cox center. I was expecting a science fair type set-up where every group displayed what their robot could do. Not this. This was a ballgame (of sorts)! It took us a while to figure out the rules. In fact, we had to ask one of the parents and even then we were a little sketchy on the details! It was exciting, though. They had a are you ready to ruuuumble!?! announcer and loud music. Kids and school mascots were dancing. They even had a half time show - these two kids doing tricks with a huge yo-yo type contraption (a little nerdy, but fascinating too).
