The big thing to do while visiting my grandma in Lubbock is to sit out on her patio for morning coffee. Here is my brother passing on the tradition. I've probably have said it before, but sitting around drinking coffee in the mornings is one of my most favorite things!

It's always been one of my favorite times, too. I especially liked it when my kids came and joined us in bed to drink morning coffee.
We used to do the same thing as kids visiting my grandma in Mansfield, LA. Though..we had our own cup of what was in essence coffee-flavored milk :) so many good memories. And still one of my favorite things about the morning, too!
