The instructor of my tooty design class picked out six of the classes' pieces and displayed them in the hall. You can see my final airplane drawing in the lower right. For this project, we had to each choose an object to draw from. From the top is a dental tool, a sunflower, a dream catcher, a tea can, a bracelet, and a toy airplane. After this I'll take a break from posting so much of my own artwork! I feel like I've been tooting my own horn too much... even if it is tooty design.

Although I like seeing other people's art, this is your blog and you can toot your own horn.
What yer Mom said. You do great good work, Jess, and we LOVE seeing it.
That said, the tea can drawing caught my eye, bein' the Jap-o-phile I am. The drawing is VERY reminiscent of Hokusai. Very. Do you have any background info on the drawing and/or the artist? Enquiring Minds™ wanna know...
Yes, Jacob in my class used Hokusai's print as his inspiration for his tea can drawing. I thought it was a brilliant idea as well! All I know about Jacob is that he was a chemistry major and changed to an art major...and all the girls love him.
Keep posting your pic.s, I am enjoying them,
We all want to see your work .. your blog. I love the plane! Difficult perspective.
