Medieval Circus

Kat and I went to the Medieval Fair in Norman.
We rode the camels!

We wanted to ride the elephant too, but the line was too long:(

Kat in a hat.

I rang the ball twice! (I think this one was for children)

Kat and a Catapult

Kat's knight in shining armor!

Medieval cell phone

Robin Hood - my personal favorite!

Medieval Brit

We threw knives. Neither of us were very good. I did get one to stick, but it was up on the secondary fence.
We did some rubbings off of old engravings.

And this is how I was feeling by the end of the day.

I wasn't aware of this festival as I was trying to make my way to The Greek House yesterday. I couldn't believe all the people! Riley was dying to stop. I could have dropped him off with you & Kat! FYI - The Greek House is closed on Sunday. :(

Jess!?! Is that you!?!?!

I was asked to go to this. I declined the invitation on grounds that I wasn't a 'Medieval Fair' kind of girl (and the fact I was going to be out of town, but that's beside the point). I had know idea that you were our very own Juliet!

Romeo! Romeo! Wherefore art thou, Romeo?

I am as merry as the day is long...

I think I may be that last woman. Looks like yoi girls had a blast.

Great pictures! I've always wanted to go to one of these things, but they don't have any around here.

MedFaires always bring out an unusual weirdness quality in whichever section of humanity they come from. Did you happen to catch the Scottish Rogues pipe band...they are always a fun show.

Perfection - I was suprised at how bad traffic was! Kat and I were in Norman just to go shopping. It was pretty rough getting around. I wish Riley had been with us at the fair, then I would have had a good excuse to stand in line for the elephant ride!

Piper - There were a lot of odd-balls! I was glad I had my camera. I didn't see any bagpipers. I did see some guys in skirts...not really kilts ...it was interesting.
