Yesterday morning, Dad and I carpooled to Velma to cast our vote. I was excited about voting! As we drove into town, I looked out my window and the town looked like it would on any other day. But this was Election Day! There should be banners, a band, a parade, and free food - we should be celebrating our right to vote and our country's new administration. On the radio, one reporter said, "which ever
candidate wins, this is a day for the history books." Just seems like this historical day should be recorded with a little more fanfare. So next election...party at my house!!!
