The other day as I was backing out of the driveway, I noticed my Great Dane lying in the sun, legs in the air. It's not unusual for her to lay like that, but I couldn't resist rolling down my window and snapping a shot. But then as I was putting away my camera I noticed Rita the cowdog lying in the same position - now that is unusual! Looks like they both died laughing.Thursday, January 22, 2009
Silly Dogs
The other day as I was backing out of the driveway, I noticed my Great Dane lying in the sun, legs in the air. It's not unusual for her to lay like that, but I couldn't resist rolling down my window and snapping a shot. But then as I was putting away my camera I noticed Rita the cowdog lying in the same position - now that is unusual! Looks like they both died laughing.

No, no. That's the dogs' house. I live in a mansion next door.
My dogs used to lay about like that, too. They'd embellish the pose with lolling tongues in the summertime. I never took pics, tho... and more's the pity... coz they looked REALLY dumb. Funny-dumb, yanno?
Ah what a life! Basting in the sun and laughing at what life brings!! Yep if I believed in reincarnation I thing a dog would be near the top of my list!
