Hawaii - Day 6 - Road to Hana

The Road to Hana was ridiculously windy!

On the road to Hana there are numerous stops for places to see, but none of them are marked. We usually tried to pull over where other people had stopped, thinking that maybe they knew something we didn't. We found a bamboo forest and a black sand beach that way. But in this picture we pulled over at what looked like could have been the beginnings of a trail. Lindsay was unconvinced that the trail led anywhere special - that's me in the background scoping it out anyway.

Jurassic Park

See where the road narrows to one lane?

This man told us we could go swimming in the waterfall. Hmmm, I think I'll pass!
He also gave us these roses.

Simply beautiful, Jess. Thanks.

Aiiieee! This word verification ain't working too well today. This my second try (three tires at Ash's blog) to get the danged word to take. I'm beginning to really HATE this "feature."

I love the views. The rose picture reminds me of the photos we took back in Questa when we were trying to photograph a flower. The pic of Lindz is pretty funny - shows your typical relationship with each other.

Great pictures Jesse. You always take such fun pictures. I tried to get my crowd to take some fun pictures but no one would! There was a sign at the volcano that said "please do not throw objects into the volcano" I wanted to take a picture of dad throwing me in the volcano. Fuddyduddies!
